Stephen inspires his students to find the joy and creativity that music can produce in their lives. The individual learning style of every student is supported with a tailored lesson plan balancing structure and creativity.
As a student you can learn a variety of musical styles: classical, rock, blues, pop and heavy metal combined with music theory and history to give students a well-rounded education.
Lessons are available for you from beginner piano to all forms and levels of guitar. He is qualified to teach the Music Theory, Harmony & History program from the Royal Conservatory of Music.

To help students learn music, Stephen focuses on making it fun and adjusting how he teaches, based on you or your child's learning style and pace.
As a beginner student you will:

Focus on learning the basics, hand position, techniques to avoid RSI, and reading music

Create your own practice goals to ensure progress

Choose simple fun tunes that help you or your child quickly experience the joy of learning music

Have the opportunity to move from piano, guitar or theory to expose students to a variety of musical styles and instruments

Sign up for 30 min lessons, and plan to spend 3 times a week in practice, for at least 15 mins
As an intermediate or advanced student you will:

Be introduced to music theory, based off the RCM program

Focus on unique areas for improvement to maintain proper technique and tone and develop as a mature musician

Work on challenging music to develop skill and performance presence
